I think it gets lumped into the ideology soup when it comes to education - people attributing it where it doesn't really fit. I think the system is driven by capitalism in some ways but so is everyone else, so it's a stretch to blame standardised tests on Taylor.

Yes it’s a common claim in leadership theory and parts make sense, but theorists are unfairly selective about how they use it.
