Compared to reading, there is a dearth of information about writing - honestly, our strong writers in primary school often just ‘are’. We know their writing is good but teachers can’t always specifically identify why. In the past it’s been about engagement, free choice and text types. Writing is our focus this year and we are all discovering our knowledge as teachers needs development. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
